I moved to the Catskill Region of NY back in 1983 when I graduated from Ohio State and took a job with a large computer manufacturer in Kingston, NY. I knew right away this was some place special! My parents and I were picking up some items for my new apartment up at the Hudson Valley Mall and saw our first sunset with the mountains as a back drop. It was breathtaking. As my passion for photography grew, so did my love for the region. I found the Ashokan Reservoir, being i lived out on route 28. In the late 80s, early 90s the Saugerties Lighthouse was restored to working condition. It has become one of my favorite places in the world to be. You never know what you'll see along the 1/2 mile path to the lighthouse or at the lighthouse itself. Over the years I have found countless areas of beauty and solitued, including a number of parks and hiking trails along the Hudson River. I keep exploring, finding new places to visit and photograph. I hope you enjoy my collection.
